Oral Cancer Screening
Oral cancer could occur to almost anyone. Higher risks of oral cancer can occur with smokers, heavy drinkers and people over 50 years of age. Oral cancer screenings are becoming more and more important for early detection of precancerous lesions in the mouth. Thanks to advances in technology, oral cancer screenings will help reduce the risk of developing oral cancer with the ability to treat it beforehand.
Since many of the symptoms are not detectable by the human eye, the oral screening itself can be done with an ultraviolet light that helps illuminate the mouth to any signs of oral cancer.
